Treat subtle merchant-name variations as the same merchant

Sometimes a merchant's name in transactions changes subtly over time (e.g., what was reported as "Brand Co" later starts appearing as just "Brand"). Today, those look like two separate merchants unless I manually edit the names.

It would be great if the system could detect and unify subtle merchant name variations so historical analytics stay continuous.
