Clearing filters briefly stalls the transactions table (inconsistent indication)

Two related nits when clearing filters on the transactions table:

1. Clearing search text: the table should revert instantly to the full list (which is already loaded), but it shows a "refreshing" indicator for a second or two.
2. Clearing the merchant filter: the table takes a second or so to reset, but in this case there's no "refreshing" indication — it just looks broken/hanging.

Either way, clearing a filter should be instant; if it can't be, the indication should at least be consistent.
